Otherwise it depends on the circumstances, such as:


1. Did the top teeth fall out while talking with you? This would be the most appropriate time (DO NOT offer to pick them up, bad etiquette)


2. Were they making clucking or tapping noises? Doesn't matter, I would refrain from saying anything.


3. Were you visiting %26amp; saw a pair in a glass in the bathroom? You might then check to see if there are any names imprinted on the teeth, this would save you the embaressment of asking.


4. Personally, I would check the yellow pages, who would want their dentist anyway.Is it rude to ask someone you don't know well for the address of their false teeth dentist?

Yes, it's rude. And, if the dentist was any good, you shouldn't be able to tell that they have false teeth.

Yes, I would find it very offensive. But if I recognized false teeth, I'd probably not want to go to that dentist anyway.
Oh come on, use your head. Ignore what everyone else here is saying about ';depends how you ask'; and other sh*t like that - if you ask at all, even in the nicest way possible then you've just made it clear that YOU CAN TELL THEIR TEETH ARE FALSE! Why don't you ask a question on here instead about ';where can I get false teeth that don't look false';, that would be more constructive, plus it has the benefit that you don't make someone feel really bad about themselves or get punched in the face (thereby losing more teeth) yourself!
it kinda depends on if one wanted to offend them, or if one really wanted to get some one's self. =)
Just say you're looking for a new dentist and could they recommend anyone. You certainly don't need to make mention of the ';false teeth'; or any other personal issue about them. :)
Yeah i would say it was rude. It's not rude however if they have actually admitted to their false teeth. Then it's fine to ask, but make sure you compliment them on their teeth too.
Make sure their teeth are actually false and offer a compliment on how nice they look.
