Do you think most weight-loss programs promote false hope and unrealistic expectations?

I am in psychology, and this is a question i need help with..Do you think most weight-loss programs promote false hope and unrealistic expectations?
Yes. I think most of the weight loss programs advertise in such a way that it makes people think that if they just eat this cookie twice a day or take this pill at night, the weight will magically disappear without having to do physical activity or change their diet. That just isn't true. First of all, it takes time to put the weight on, therefore it is going to take some time and effort to get it off. Changing the way you eat and the foods you eat along with a regular exercise program is the only true way to lose the weight and keep it off. It has to be a lifestyle change. Otherwise losing some quick weight will only be put back on as soon as you go back to your regular habits.Do you think most weight-loss programs promote false hope and unrealistic expectations?
Promoting one's product needs several good things to offer in order to get customers well there very few who are really honest about their products.
