Friend using false address for child to attend better school?

My friend is using an address other than his own to allow his 5 year old to attend a better school district. Now the school wants to teach his child his address, and he wants to make sure his child learns his real address in case of emergencies, not the fake one. He's worried now that if he asks the school to teach his son the real address, they will probe into the discrepancy. Any advice other than don't lie about your address to get into a better school?Friend using false address for child to attend better school?
As long as they are not providing the transportation, it shouldn't matter where he goes to school but the kid needs to know his real address.Friend using false address for child to attend better school?
I mean as long as the SCHOOL is not providing the transportation,they should be able to go where they want.

I understand that the parent wants the child in a better school. The school probably will investigate if the parent asks that the child be taught a different address. Either the child will have to be told they have a real address and a ';school'; address, or the parent will need to find very good justification in order for the school to teach the child the real address.
